Lunch & Learn: Discover 360Serve
Join us after church for a special Lunch & Learn to explore the work of 360Serve, a global missions organization helping everyday Christians make a Kingdom-level impact around the world. 360Serve partners with indigenous church-planting pastors—leaders who live among and reach the least-reached people in areas where traditional missionary efforts can’t easily go.
Whether you’re curious about global missions, looking for ways to get involved, or eager to hear inspiring stories of God at work, our time together will give you a fresh perspective on how the Great Commission is being lived out around the world.

Good Friday
Gather with us to remember the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Through Scripture readings, prayer, and worship, we’ll walk together through the story of Christ’s passion and the depths of His love. Rather than rushing to celebration, we linger at the cross and reflect on what Jesus accomplished.
All are welcome.

It’s the perfect opportunity to meet some of our pastors and staff, hear more about who we are and what we believe, and ask any questions you might have about our ministries, events, or how to get involved. We’ll also take time to get to know you and hear your story because building meaningful connections is at the heart of what we do.

Baptism Sunday
Baptism is a public way of showing that we belong to Jesus. It symbolizes being washed clean from sin and stepping into new life with Him. The Bible teaches that when we put our faith in Jesus, we are forgiven and receive the Holy Spirit—baptism is an outward sign of that inward transformation (Acts 2:38).
Baptism doesn't make us right with God; it's a response to the faith we already have. The water represents cleansing, but it's our trust in Jesus that brings forgiveness (1 Peter 3:21). It's also an act of obedience and a declaration that we’re committed to following Him.
To help you prepare, we will offer a baptism class on Sunday, April 12 from 10-10:45 AM in the VCC Conference Room.
Ready to take this step? Sign up today!
Baby Dedications
Baby Dedications will take place on Mother’s Day—Sunday, May 10—during our 9 AM and 11 AM services. Families who would like to participate are asked to attend a required Baby Dedication Class over Zoom on May 4 from 7:30-8 PM.
If you would like to dedicate your child, please register for the class and indicate which service you plan to participate in. We look forward to celebrating with you!

WidowCare Workday
Students & Parents!
Join us on Saturday, November 15 to team up and serve the widows in our community. We'll be breaking into teams and doing some yard work, hanging Christmas lights, cleaning, and doing some other jobs. We've done this for years now, and students always have a great experience, and the widows are always so grateful. It's an easy way to help in a real way.
We have a much higher number of widows signed up this year than in years prior, so we really need the help! We also really need some adults to help out at the houses and drive students. This is a great way to serve with your kids!
We start at 8:30 AM at VCC and are usually wrapped up before noon, depending on how much help we can get.
Lunch & Learn With Saji Mathew
Join us for a special Lunch & Learn as we hear from Saji Mathew, a VCC-supported missionary serving with Harvest Mission, an organization that consists of several ministries devoted to reaching unreached people in India and Nepal.

Men's Retreat
Take massive action. Step away. Step into brotherhood.
Last year, 50 men gathered at Mount Hermon for our first retreat with the theme Keep Your Garden. It was honest, intergenerational, and surprisingly powerful: elders and younger men alike teaching, sharing, and hanging out together.
This year we’re building on that foundation. Expect solid teaching from Mike Laine, Kent Laws, Steve Johnson and others, plus space to reflect on themes from both Scripture and Morgan Snyder's book Becoming a King. No prep required—just showing up is enough. You’ll find authentic fellowship, great food, a T-shirt and swag included, and plenty of free time to enjoy downtown Santa Cruz or the beach.
Details
Cost: $300 (covers lodging, meals, a T-shirt and swag)
Location: Mount Hermon Camp & Conference Center
Scholarships: Contact Dane at dane@vc.church

Join us in the Fireside Room.
